Perfect for your kimono, yukata, or other Japanese traditional attire.
In addition to the four types of apple candy, chocolate banana, taiyaki, and ayu sweetfish sold in 2022, we have prepared a total of seven types of kanzashi hairpins: takoyaki, yakitori, and sanshoku dango.
Although they are smaller than the real thing, we focused on recreating the original shapes when crafting them.

Notes
-
Takoyaki
We made it just the right size so that it wouldn't feel heavy when worn in the hair. The beni shoga kneaded into the fabric is a key feature.
-
Yakitori
I adjusted it many times to this size so that it wouldn't get caught in the hair. Although small, it perfectly expresses the grilled color as if it were cooked over charcoal.
-
Sanshoku Dango
We aimed to create a hair ornament that would complement any traditional Japanese attire. The shape is intentionally a little uneven, like a handmade "dango" (dumpling), rather than perfectly round.
-
Candied apple
Please note the glossy candy coating on the apples and its exquisite thickness.
-
Chocolate banana
We've created hairpins inspired by food loved by all generations. The melting chocolate is depicted in a delicious and appetizing way.
-
Taiyaki
We've meticulously reproduced even the overflowing edges of a real taiyaki.
-
鮎
Although small, the details are well-represented. The salt expression is a key highlight.

How to wear a kanzashi
It can be easily used by simply inserting it into a hair bun.
(We recommend inserting the hair ornament into the bun, as there is a risk of the food sample part coming off.)

"Obidome" Series
-
Ichigo Daifuku
Similar to the strawberry daifuku keyring, the cross-section of the strawberry is realistically depicted. Each one is handmade with anko filling, and we've added a touch of red bean skin to create tsubu-an (chunky bean paste).
-
Nama Yatsuhashi
To achieve the thin and soft texture of Yatsuhashi, we focused on the translucency of the red bean paste filling. The cinnamon powder around the edges was created by coloring, so it won't come off even if you touch it.
-
Nerikiri
This item embodies the flower meaning of the balloon flower: "elegance." We've created a gradient that appears as if the anko (sweet bean paste) has seamlessly blended in, with the color emerging from within, just like a traditional nerikiri confection.
